We opened Taupō Pedal boats with one vision - to bring something affordable and family friendly to Lake Taupō. We are a small family owned and operated business, with four sons in tow, from 7 - 15 years old.

 

Travelling is expensive. Travelling with kids is even more expensive! Finding an activity under $100 is near impossible, so we created one. Taupō Pedal boats is a completely zero emission, outdoor, budget friendly activity that anyone and everyone can enjoy.

We are family driven, with four generations all helping out to ensure Taupo Pedal Boats is a success. From lunch deliveries from our grandparents, a helping hand from our parents and having our kids on site all day welcoming customers in between swimming and enjoying the water, it is a true family affair - and we wouldn't have it any other way.

We love our community, and we are passionate about sharing that with you. We want to tell you our stories of our beautiful Lake and town, and we want you to enjoy it as much as we do.

Here at Taupō Pedal Boats, we are passionate about tourism, and making your trip one to remember. We want to be a destination, with customer service at the top of our priority list. There are all walks of life that visit us here at Taupō Pedal Boats, so from our family to yours - please, take only pictures, leave only footprints.
